As some of you know (if you follow me on Instagram) I have been posting about my new love for dark and moody spaces a lot lately ... I have been in love with dark, deep green paint for a couple of years now and I finally took the plunge and painted our entire bedroom in the gorgeous Salamander... before I made this decision I spent quite a bit of time looking at other shades that were my close favourites! Check them out below! Let me know which one is YOUR favourite!
[1] SALAMANDER - as mentioned above this is the one I used in our master bedroom and because I loved this color so much I did ALL of the walls ( I will share a full bedroom reveal once it's 100% decorated) This color sometimes has deep blue-green undertones...it changes color all day and its the coziest DARK green color I think I've ever seen... it goes with both light and dark furniture depending on your mood and if you want a contrast or not. Here is a sneak peek!

[2] DARK HARBOUR - this one has been pinned on my Pinterest for probably three years now... while it is GORGEOUS it was just a tad too blue-green for what I was looking for... but I do still love it. I could see this working in any room in your home!
[3] GENTLEMEN'S GRAY This one isn't just for gentlemen... with its deep charcoal/navy hues I see this working with a lot of warm wood furniture or even darker black metal accents. I will definitely be using this one somewhere in my home soon... possibly my office!
[4] SOOT NEED I SAY MORE? UGH... so beautiful. Love the brass accents and how they really compliment this beautiful cabinetry.
[5] NIGHTFALL - this was a VERY close runner up for me. I love how at first glance it's quite a deep charcoal but when you look closer you can see hints of green and blue... its PERFECT. I don't think you would get sick of this color anytime soon as it's such a nice neutral dark shade.
[6] NARAGANSETT GREEN I feel like this one is the closest to Salamander but just a tad lighter...I love it here with all the white trim... beautiful!
That's all for now, friends! If you end up painting with any one of these colors I would love to see the final product! For more interior design tips and inspiration be sure to follow me on Instagram!
